Richard and Horomona Horo of Nga Tae introduce you to the ancient sound world of the Maori of Aotearoa New Zealand. At the workshop, they introduce some of their range of instruments- mainly percussion, flutes and trumpets – and the presentation is interwoven with stories about the instruments and their functions within the rituals and ceremonies of a traditional community.
