Gavin Britt and Tony Smith have organised a wananga for taonga puoro to be hosted by Richard Nunns and Brian Flintoff and Horomono Horo.

The Kaupapa for the weekend: To learn how to build and/or play traditional Maori instruments and also the Tikanga and oral histories of these treasures.

The basic programme will be:
Friday 7:30pm: a Po Whakangahau evening during which Richard and Brian will showcase their treasures.
Sat 9am – 4pm: Workshops – building /making or playing / composing
Sat evening – Composition evening
Sunday 9 – 12: workshops
Sunday 1pm – 2.30pm freetime for presenting or finishing projects
Sunday 3pm Poroporoaki
