The National Youth Brass Band of New Zealand, with musical director Graham Hickman, present this concert as part of a four centre mini tour of the South. They will perform a wide range of entertaining music including works by Stravinsky and Shostakovich, celebrated New Zealand composers Gareth Farr and Ken Young, well known jazz standards and a vocal tribute to Elvis Presley. This year’s guest artist is British euphonium exponent Davey Boyes.
