The Southern Sinfonia are conducted by Simon Over. Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass is the centrepiece of this concert in the venerable Austrian’s anniversary year and the City of Dunedin Choir will join the performers along with soloists Rebecca Ryan (soprano), Claire Barton (alto) and Jared Holt (baritone).

The first half is given to the orchestra however, and works backwards chronologically from Puden’s Dances of Brittany to Brahms’ Symphony No. 2
