The New Zealand String Quartet perform the first concert in Chamber Music Hutt Valley’s 2010 season. Their wide-ranging programme includes works by Haydn (The Rider Quartet, Op.74 No. 3), Beethoven’s Duet for Viola and cello, the Eyeglasses, Schubert’s Quartet D. 18, Tan Dun’s Eight Colours and Helen Fisher’s String Quartet in Memory of May Manoy. The latter item was commissioned by Chamber Music Hutt Valley in 1994.
