Undergrowth is a new collaboration by artist-storyteller Kristin Herman and musician-composer Peter Willis. It explores the Grimm brothers’ story of Hansel and Gretel as an initiation journey. The performance ritual tells the story through spoken word, movement, found object art, and music (piano, song, sound objects). The music is by Peter Willis and the words are by Kristin Herman. It doesn’t fit into conventional genre categories, but would best be described as an art performance.

The performance lasts approximately one hour, with no interval.
