Listen to the World! is the motto as the ISCM World New Music Days take place in Visby, Växjö and Gothenburg between 24 September and 4 October 2009. The ISCM World New Music Days is an international festival that focuses on contemporary music and sound art.

The new Danish Radio chamber choir DR Vokalensemblet consists of 18 qualified Nordic chorists, each also an experienced soloist. Led by the Swedish conductor Fredrik Malmberg, they have a repertoire of contemporary music from all over the World. Their programme includes works by composers from Italy, Lithuania, Denmark, Slovakia, New Zealand, Ireland, Israel, Belgium and Poland.
