Ensemble Selisih are a new music ensemble from Freiburg, Germany, consisting of baritone, alto and soprano saxophones, flute and piano. The ensemble is committed to performing and commissioning new works and working with emerging composers to realise new sound worlds for this unusual combination of instruments.

The group has established a firm connection with New Zealand through their Kiwi flute player, Elizabeth Farrell and through Professor Dieter Mack. This concert includes new works by Dylan Lardelli and Robin Toan commissioned by Ensemble Selisih in 2008 through Creative New Zealand.
