CHOKE is a work for eight multiple loudspeakers. There will be just four performances,at 7.00, 7.45, 8.30 and 9.15 pm and each performance will be for a maximum of nine people!

John Cousins’ creative output has evolved from conventional musical composition to sculptural performance, mixed media and sonic art. This performance at NZSM has been organised by the NZSM Sonic Arts programme. This programme offers students the chance to develop their individual creative voices, learn the skills to master music technology and provide access to the Lilburn Electroacoustic Music Studios.
