The SMP Ensemble present a concert of works which explore our most primal concerns: War & Peace, Life & Death, Love & Hate.

The programme includes works by: Bright, Britten, Ligeti, Reich, Stockhausen, Takemitsu, Lyell Cresswell, Eve de Castro-Robinson, Alex Hay, Natalie Hunt, Anton Killin, Lemmon & Douglas Lilburn.

The SMP Ensemble (director: Andrzej Nowicki) was formed in October 2008 as a forum for Wellington-based composers & performers, including many studying at the New Zealand School of Music and Victoria University of Wellington.
