The Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships & Festival is organised annually by the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA), however its location changes each year as it is hosted by a different national member. In 2009 the Coupe Mondiale is being hosted by the New Zealand Accordion Association (NZAA) at the Bruce Mason Centre, Takapuna, North Shore City.
