175 East, supported by funding from Creative New Zealand, present a pair of concerts: this one in Auckland and the same programme in Wellington this Saturday.
The concert features Richard Barrett’s Codex I and knospend-gespaltener, Michael Norris’ Vitus, Jim Gardner’s a study for voicing doubts, Christian Wolff’s Two Players and the premiere of from a fixed point, a newly-commissioned work from Edwin Carr scholar Rachael Morgan.
175 East are pleased to welcome the return of guest clarinettist Richard Haynes as well as the first appearance of horn player Carl Wells along with Ingrid Culliford (flutes), Andrew Uren (bass clarinet), Tim Sutton (bass trombone), James Gardner (laptop), Katherine Hebley (cello), Lachlan Radford (bass) all conducted by Hamish McKeich.
