Tuhonohono comprises Richard Nunns: taonga puoru, Ramonda Te Maiharoa-Taleni: voice, Ingrid Culliford: flute, Ashley Brown: cello, Ben Hoadley: bassoon, and Emma Sayers: piano. Tuhonohono specialises in the music of Gillian Whitehead. This concert celebrates Matariki and is a collaboration between Te Papa Tongarewa and Chamber Music New Zealand as part of the latter’s Encompass Series.
