- NZSO: The Audi Tour

In this seven centre tour Musical Director Pietai Inkinen will conduct the NZSO in two alternating programmes featuring violinist Cho Lian Lin.
Programme One consists of:
Jack Body: Melodies for orchestra; Samuel Barber: Violin Concerto; and
Richard Wagner (arr de Vlieger): Tristan and Isolde: An Orchestral Passion
while the second programme includes:
John Psathas: OLYMPIAD XXVIII; Serge Prokofiev: Violin Concerto No 2; Modeste Mussorgsky (arr. Maurice Ravel) Pictures at an Exhibition
John Psathas will give a pre-concert (Auckland) and a post-concert(Wellington) talk about his work.
