The SMP Ensemble (director: Andrzej Nowicki) was formed in October 2008 as a forum for Wellington-based composers & performers, including many from the New Zealand School of Music and Victoria University of Wellington.

In this concert the performers will play works by Anton Killin, Bela Bartok, Edison Denisov, La Monte Young, Richard Robertshawe, Jono Crehan, Natalie Hunt, and Mike Lemmon as well as hosting performances from The Society Ladies and The Improv Noise Band.
