Eclectic. Electric. Acoustic.

This annual concert celebrating the best of New Zealand music features new and old works – all with electroacoustic elements. From Douglas Lilburn’s moving setting of Allen Curnow’s poem Landfall in Unknown Seas_, which will be narrated by Bill Manhire to new works by Jack Body (My Name is Mok Bhon_) and Lissa Meridan (a quiet fury), this concert will be a fascinating aural and historical journey.

To complete the evening, members of the audience are invited to stay on in the auditorium after the concert to listen to a selection of New Zealand electroacoustic works. Michael Norris will be in charge of the electroacoustics.
