Edwin Carr’s Oboe Concerto, in it’s piano reduction by Geoffrey Grey, was premiered in a special concert at the New Zealand Embassy in Paris.

The performers were Yoko Sugiyama (piano) and Alexandre Le Forestier de Lesmadec (oboe). Following the performance the work’s dedicatee, Dominique Enon, presented a copy of the score to Her Excellency the Ambassador of New Zealand, Madame Sarah Dennis.
