Combine the five principal wind players from the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra with Diedre Irons, one of our most revered pianists, and the result is an ensemble brimming with character and energy.

Zephyr consists of Bridget Douglas (flute), Robert Orr (oboe), Phil Green (clarinet), Ed Allen (French Horn) and Robert Weeks (bassoon). In this tour for Chamber Music New Zealand Associate Societies Zephyr will premiere a new work by Anthony Ritchie. The remainder of their programme will be chosen from works by Mozart, Beethoven, Berio, Barber, and Poulenc.
