In June Light on New Zealand Composers features works by composers from each of four regions of New Zealand. This third programme is focused on Wellington composers with works by John Psathas, Jenny McLeod, Jack Body, Gareth Farr and Helen Fisher.
3MBS continues the series in which producer Eva Light explores the music of Australia's colonial neighbour allowing listeners to hear works they may not otherwise have had the chance to enjoy. The programme is aired weekly during every second month on Tony Thomas’ Contemporary Visions slot at 8pm Tuesdays. Alan Wells, NZ musicologist and composer, is co-creator of the series.
