Born: 1920

Biography

Margaret Wegener was born in 1920 at Hendon in north London. She studied at the Maria Grey College and has composed many hymns, anthems and alrger choral works with orchestra as well as music for schools, solo songs and instrumental music. Among a number of posts held as a teacher of music were those of Director of Music at Barton Cour School, Canterbury, and Ellington Girls School, Ramsgate. Now retired from teaching, she devotes her time to composition.
