Aotea Centre is New Zealand’s leading Performing Arts venue and primary conventions facility of Auckland Convention Centre at THE EDGE®. Opened in 1990 the theatre venues are ASB Theatre, a 2276 tiered-seat auditorium, and Herald Theatre, a 186 seat intimate theatre space. The Aotea Centre stages performances that range from New Zealand Music Awards, NZ Opera, NZSO through to a host of international and local musicians and artists.
