Sunrise Music Trust is a charitable trust set up specifically to foster the composition, publication and distribution of classical music by New Zealand composers. It was formed following the success of Sunrise, which was published by the Wellington Piano and Instrumental Group (WPIG). As WPIG’s prime purpose is to provide performance opportunities, a separate trust was created to take responsibility for Sunrise and subsequent publications.

Their publications have met with praise from all quarters. Leading NZ piano teacher, Rae de Lisle comments of their 2010 publication, Take Flight, “Again a stunning collection of exciting and colourful New Zealand music which will certainly inspire the imagination of any growing pianist. A delight to teach as well as to play. Bravo Sunrise Music Trust.”
