Biography

Mike Hogan is a composer and performer currently based in Wellington, New Zealand.

Primarily a guitar player Mike has written a substantial body of work for this instrument both for solo and chamber ensembles, and his music has been performed in Europe, America, Mexico, Russia, Australia and Canada, by performers such as Matthew Marshall and Owen Moriarty.

Mike is also a member of the ensemble TAHU, which combines the Classical guitar with Taonga Puoro. TAHU has recently released a self titled album available through Ode Records.
