Biography

I have been working in London as a freelance organist and composer and teacher having left New Zealand in 2007 after seven years as musical director of the Bach Choir of Wellington. In 2010 I was commissioned by professor Marilyn Mason of Michigan University to compose a large scale organ piece, this music is now under a publishing agreement with MorningStar publishers in Missouri and will become part of the Marilyn Mason Music Library. In 2011 I composed several pieces of organ music which are under a publishing agreement with Wayne Leupold Publishers, North Carolina USA.
In addition to this I have fulfilled commissions for Trinity Episcopalian Church Iowa City USA (several anthems for mixed choir and organ) and a Missa Brevis for unison men’s voices and organ for St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral Sydney Australia.
I am currently director of music at Mill Hill School, a leading independent school in north west London which maintains a fine Chapel choir.
