The best way to explore our extensive catalogue of scores, CDs, books and resources is by borrowing them from the SOUNZ library - every item that is available to purchase is in our library.

Single Use of the SOUNZ Library for Individuals
($5.00) 
Details: Single use of the SOUNZ Library.  This fee entitles you to borrow up to five items in one order.  This fee covers the cost of postage within New Zealand.  Please note, online library privileges are not assigned for single use SOUNZ Library users.

How memberships work:

• When you have purchased a library membership a SOUNZ staff member will assign your library privileges to your login, and you can request items yourself online or by email.
• Your library order is then processed and posted to you.
• The standard issue time is two months.

12-month Membership Options:

Individual Standard Library Membership ($40.00)  Details: One year's access to the SOUNZ Library - this membership entitles you to borrow an unlimited number of items

Schools & Choirs Library Membership ($80.00)  Details: One year's access to the SOUNZ Library - this membership entitles any person connected to your school/choir to borrow an unlimited number of items

Other Organisations Library Membership ($110.00)  Details: One year's access to the SOUNZ Library - this membership entitles any person connected to your organisation (university, orchestra, etc.) to borrow an unlimited number of items

Charges for membership cover postage to you within New Zealand as well as the maintenance and development of our collection. International Library Members will incur a postage cost when they borrow library items. It is the responsibility of all members to pay return postage.

Hire Rates:
Many choral and orchestral (including string orchestra, symphonic band, brass band, etc.) works are available to hire from through the SOUNZ Library.  Information about hiring, including hire fee pricing, is available here.
