Download the 2013 information and entry form here. Entries close 14 June 2013, and the three finalists will be announced in July or August. The winner is announced at APRA's Silver Scroll Awards, which will take place October 2013, in Auckland.

The procedure is as follows:
SOUNZ publicises a Call for Submissions and convenes a selection panel. From the submitted scores, the panel selects up to 80 minutes of works to be performed by the NZSO and recorded by Radio New Zealand Concert during the following year. SOUNZ acknowledges the generous support of Radio New Zealand Concert and the NZSO for this project.
The Call for Submissions for the 2014 NZSO-SOUNZ-RNZC Recordings will open 1 July 2013, closing 15 August 2013. The successful applicants will be announced in October 2013, and must submitted their finalised score & parts to SOUNZ by 15 November 2013.
