If you wish to ensure that your contribution is acknowledged and discoverable, then we encourage you to register as a SOUNZ Contributor Member. Your membership enriches everyone’s knowledge of New Zealand music and helps SOUNZ to encourage performances, publication and dissemination of music by New Zealand composers.

Please read the General Terms and Conditions for the use of the SOUNZ website before registering. You will be agreeing to these Terms and Conditions when you contribute to the SOUNZ website.
How it works:
- Create a free login on the SOUNZ homepage >>
- Then email info@sounz.org.nz and we can convert your login to a Contributor Membership.
- You can then use our online forms to contribute to our database.
Online Forms
Only SOUNZ Contributor Members should use these online forms (once logged in):
- provide/update contributor biography
- lodge or update a work
- tell us about a product
The number of event listings SOUNZ can process will be reduced in 2012. Please contact us before submitting the online form

The procedure is as follows:
SOUNZ publicises a Call for Submissions and convenes a selection panel. From the submitted scores, the panel selects up to 80 minutes of works to be performed by the NZSO and recorded by Radio New Zealand Concert during the following year. SOUNZ acknowledges the generous support of Radio New Zealand Concert and the NZSO for this project.
A Call for Scores for the 2012 NZSO-SOUNZ-RNZC Recordings is now closed. The Call for Scores for the 2013 SOUNZ-NZSO-RNZC Recordings is scheduled for July 2012.
