Contributor Membership of SOUNZ

Many people and organisations contribute to the richness and diversity of the New Zealand music which is promoted and provided through SOUNZ. At the heart of this are the composers. However, there are also performers, commissioners, funders, presenters, publishers, recording companies, venues, and even those who have had a work dedicated to them.

If you wish to ensure that your contribution is acknowledged and discoverable, then we encourage you to register as a SOUNZ Contributor Member. Your membership enriches everyone’s knowledge of New Zealand music and helps SOUNZ to encourage performances, publication and dissemination of music by New Zealand composers.

SOUNZ Contributor Membership is free. All you need is an email address and password.

Please read the General Terms and Conditions for the use of the SOUNZ website before registering. You will be agreeing to these Terms and Conditions when you contribute to the SOUNZ website.

Once you log in, contact us at SOUNZ and we can convert your login to a Contributor Membership. Links to online forms will then appear below. You can use these to update us with the following information, much of which will appear on the website linked to the music:

• a profile or biography of you or your organisation with a link to your website
• new and past events
• new works that have been created
• new releases and publications

Without your contribution much less music would be created in New Zealand.
Even less would be heard around the world.
