The Centre for New Zealand Music is a charitable trust.
It relies on the financial support and advocacy of a wide range of individuals and organisations to carry out its work.

How can I make a donation?

You can support our work in the following ways:

or contact us:

  • to set up a regular automatic payment from your bank account
  • to request information about how to arrange a bequest
  • to find out how to become one of our patrons

How will my donation be used?

Donating to SOUNZ is an effective way to show your support for New Zealand music and the work SOUNZ does in providing and promoting music by our composers. There are many ways in which your donation could make a difference.
Here are a few examples:

  • help us to acquire a new CD or score for our library
  • pay for the travel of a composer to hear their work played at the NZSO-SOUNZ Readings
  • support the publication of SOUNZ News
  • ensure that our website remains the premier resource for music by NZ composers

Are donations tax deductible?

All donations to SOUNZ over $5 are tax deductible for New Zealand taxpayers.
Our Charities Commission Registration is CC22488 and we have been granted donee status by the Department of Inland Revenue.

How else can I support SOUNZ?

Apart from becoming a donor there are other ways in which you can support SOUNZ:

  • buy an online membership
  • join the library
  • purchase music – scores , books, CDs, DVDs and more – from SOUNZ
  • tell your friends and colleagues about how SOUNZ can help them to explore and discover music by NZ composers

Your help is always appreciated!
